What to do in Shanghai ?

One of the largest and busiest city in China. 

• Get to know the city walking along « Bund », the city’s former Wall Street. Admire the gorgeous historic building’s facades and visit the buildings that are open to the public.
• Do not miss one of the most beautiful places in Shanghai : Yu Garden. Discover the shaded nooks, the pavilions, pine trees and ponds home to many carps. Right next to the garden, visit the Huxinting tea house. End you walk at the City God Temple.
• If you need to take a break from the huge malls and sky scrapers, head to Tianzifang, a neighbourhood with designer workshops, cybercafés and shops. In this street maze (longtang), you will get a charming and authentic atmosphere.
• If you are an art lover, M50 is for you ! Discover the underground culture of Shanghai’s art galeries clustered in this industrial block with graffitied streets.

What to do in Hangzhou ?

The stunning West Lake : a sight of the Old China. 

• Do not miss this lake created in the 8th century. Discover the hills and their Padogas overlooking the shaded riverside and observe the slowly cruising boats.
• Head to the largest island : Gushan Issland where you will find Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Zhongshan Park and Xiling Seal Art Society.
• North-West of the city, explore the lovely Quyuan gardens spreading over several islands and known for their lotus flowers during Spring.
• End your tour by the small Xiaoying island and discover the Three Pools where the moon reflects as well as the Red Carp Pond with thousands of fish.

What to do in Wuzhen ?

• Explore the two parts of the city : Dongzha in the East and Xizha in the West by buying a boat ticket from the main reception center.
• Stop on the main street of the Eastern area : Dongda Jie, a narrow paved street bordered by wooden buildings and several factories. Discover how rice wine is made at the Sanbai distillery.

What to do in Tunxi ?

Starting point for the Huangshan.

• Relax in this city before exploring the wild nature of Huangshan. Appreciate the old trading city surrounded by hills. Recharge your batteries before going on the next day.

What to do in Huangshan ?

Huge granite peaks and gnarly pine trees : Yellow Mountain region. 

• After paying an intrance fie, go up the Huangshan mountain. 
For a short but intense hike up (7.5 km / 4.6 miles) take the East steps between the Yungu station and the White Geese Peak. Discover a lovely and shaded trail on a 2 and a half hour walk. True athlete ? Go up 15 km / 9.3 miles to the top of the mountain on a steep trail carved in sharp rock. A breathtaking view but tough hike … You are warned ! More of an occasional athlete ? Get up to the top on a cable car !
• Spend the night at the top of the mountain to observe the sun setting on the North Sea : a gorgeous sight ! Eat your breakfast on the patio (Qingliang Tai) and enjoy the « sea of clouds » : bright fog circling around the mountains and lining the pits and valley. An unforgettable moment …

What to do in Wuyuan ?

A region with huizhou village.

• Explore this countryside region with some of the most well preserved landscapes in South-East China. Scattered across this hilly land, discover cities with old bridges, rivers and paved streets. Buy tickets to visit each place or prefer exploring the overlooked villages with free entrance like Guankeng, Lingjiao, Qingyuan or Changxi.
