What to do in Barcelona ?

A few days in the city of Gaüdi.

• Go down the ramblas and walk through the neighbourhood of Barri Gòtic… People, a lot of people, but a must-see !
• Have a drink on the patio of the 7th floor of La Isabela.
• Be sure to go see the Sagrada Familia, the Parc Güell and the Casa Batlló.
• Have a traditionnel paella at Xiringuito Escribà facing the sea.
• Eating out is the best in barceloneta … Enjoy a glass of cava (local sparkling white wine) in the Cava bar called “Can Paixano” (La Xampanyeria).
• Want to chill on the beach ? In the city center you will find the beach of sant Sebastia near the W Hotel. You can even try stand-up paddle ! And if you want to get out of the city, head to Castelldefels, a 30-min drive.

What to do in Montserrat ?

Catalans’ beloved multi-peaked mountain range … 

• Visit the monastery and abbey built on the side of the mountain !
• Be sure to check ou the 360 view from the peak of Sant Jeroni (3 hour round hike). You’ll be speechless …
• Climb on Montserrat, there are thousands of climbing routes accessible to any climber, beginner or experienced.
• Less adventurous ? That’s fine, just take the cable car !

What to do in Tarragona ?

Also called “Barcelona’s little sister”. 

• Go back in time, back to the Roman times when visiting the Roman amphitheatre facing the sea.
• Touch the banister of the Balcó del Mediterrani. It is supposed to make you lucky !
• Buy some fresh fish at the auction in the fishermen’s district El Serrallo.
• Eat some roasted octopus in Almosta restaurante.

What to do in Reus ?

• On Mondays and Saturdays, go the farmer’s market and buy some local produce.
• Visit the famous Casa Navas, symbol the Catalan modernity.
• If you like Modern art, exploring the Institut Pere Mata is essential !

What to do in Poble Nou Del Delta ?

White village that kind of looks like Mexico, but most importantly a stop in the Ebro Delta. 

• Take the time to go for a bike ride across the Delta’s rice fields.
• Spend a night in a traditional house called “barraca“.
• Need to unwind ? Head to Playa Riumar.
• Observe flamingos in MónNatura. We dare you to stand on one leg as long as they do !

What to do in Sitges ?

The Mediterranean San Francisco.

• We recommend visiting Sitges during low season, between April and June. If you go during peak season, don’t expect to be alone on the beach … In fact better take your car to get out of the city and find your secret spot. It’s the ideal place to end your trip partying near Barcelona.
• Farniente, farniente and farniente !
• We also recommend getting an ice-cream from “Ô Sorbet d’Amour“. This company from Bordeaux (France) was established 80 years ago and opened its first shop in Spain in Sitges … And because we are from Bordeaux, we can attest these ice creams are delicious !
